We are having the most beautiful Spring day here, on our covered back patio (with no sun on it) the temperature is 86F/30C.  Of course it is a lot warmer in the sun, but there is a lovely cooling breeze.  The fruit trees are coming into blossom as well - its gorgeous!Smile

By the way, raining in Oxford today and plenty to follow over the next few days apparently, but then it is St Giles Fair! It always rains at least one day for the Fair!!

St Giles Fair in Oxford 6th and 7th September this year.

Baltimore, eh?  One of the most historic cities in the U.S.  And the quilts there!!  WOW.  I'm envious.

Ron & James, I tried to immigrate to England in the '70's but was not permitted even though I had sponsors and a free place to live.  What do you both think of that?  I was in early 20's then.

It was more autumn-like here today.  Can't wait for full autumn.  Cool temps then.  I've already bought all Christmas presents & am planning goodies to make for Christmas too.

We have Red Flag warnings here in New Jersey today! It means the potential for fires is great! We haven't had rain in over two weeks!!! And with the possible thunderstorms today...oh boy!!! Surprised

I know Colorado is going through it's share of wildfires! Scary business!

Wish I could send some of our rain to you, Krissy. We have had plenty of it during the last weeks. On one day the same amount as normaly in one month. So we can spare a couple of pints.
