>>>We need a good lashing down

Couldn't agree more Ruth! Lol

Weather here? Blue sky, no wind and the strawberries are ripening quicker than we can eat them! Lovely...

At the start of April, they'd forecast snow around the 20th; we actually got one of the warmest and driest Aprils on record.

Starting from last Saturday, they'd forecast we'd have a scorching 2 weeks; daytime temps in the 60s, cool blustery winds and occasional rain doesn't seem scorching to me. Why do they bother trying to give a weather forecast more than 1 day ahead ? Undecided

At 11:27 pm EST I am amazed at how it really cooled off from 95 degrees F today. Was a hot humid day and I was very thankful for the cool air and lovely breeze from the nearby storms! Smile

Hot.  Currently about 95° F and calling for 101° for the top temp.  Thinking about and praying for the THOUSANDS affected by the tornadoes in the Midwest and South.

Cold! Snow in the mountains all around us, though none in the valley, thank the Lord.

Please, please let it warm up just a little.

But I'll take the cold over all of the other awful weather back East.

Can I come visit, Ruth?

You bet. Sue.  Anytime.  You'd also love the family of four American kestrels that has been hanging around in one of my trees.

It's supposed to be hot, dry and windy here the next couple of days.

You're so sweet Ron. I was just not in the mood to go looking, this morning.

SNOW!

Yes, you hear me, SNOW in the Nevada desert on June 2nd.

OK, so it's not that unusual. I've seen it before, but it's usually just a freak storm passing through. This time we have snow forecast for the next couple of days and then......wait for it......temperatures in the 80's for the weekend.

Anyone like to change places with me? I'll come live in England again in a heartbeat.
