We stayed at the Broadway hotel in Broadway, Worcestershire. The weather was terrible rain, sleet and wind, but we thoroghly enjoyed it. We visited many towns and villages and they all had something to offer us despite the weather. e were fine in our raincoats and umbrellas-churches, abbeys and of course pubs offerd us shelter from the storm. We had some excellent local foods and friendly evenings in the hotel bar. Don't let the weather put you off visiting us in England -we don't let it spoil our sightseeing or our enjoyment. |

So glad you had such a good time, Peggy. And you are right, we must never let a bit of rain spoil your enjoyment of this wonderful country.

The English are verymuch upto date but preserve their past. I am surprised Niel Armstronge and his crew didnt pass an Englishman on his way back from the moon when they were going, lol. heres a picture of a supermarket store in Birmingham, England - Picture by John Walker or a picture of Salford, greater Manchester very close to Granada Studio where they Film Coronation Street lol Picture by Shaun Curtis
