YellJust a line to say that while on the rocky beach at Flamborough a couple of weeks ago

I slipped and fell and broke my wrist.

I also broke my camera, not sure which one upset me the most.

SmileHappily everything is doing well and I am having the pot off next week.

So just a warning folks take care while you are out and about.

CoolI am looking forward to the summer and hope everyone keeps well and to tell you all I enjoy all your photos.

                                                   All the Best Barbara

Ouch!

Sorry to hear about the wrist and the camera. Glad to hear you are mending, but what about the camera?

I'll be on a beach in Oregon next month, and will watch for slippery rocks.

Continue to mend.

SUE

Likewise Barbara, get well soon.

You say take care but sometimes things are beyond us, not of our own doing. For example, the storms are coming.....wonder what we will be writing about after Tuesday next week!

Keep your chin up, hope it doesn't hurt too much!

Sorry to hear about the wrist Barbara, Hope it mends soon. I think breaking the camera would upset me the most.

Good luck and get the camera fixed soon.

Sorry about the wrist and camera!

I understand how you feel about the camera. Whilst climbing over rock pools on the beach at Looe in Cornwall last year  I slipped and my new camera which was hanging around my neck got a quick dunk in the water. It wouldn't power up for a while and I thought It was ruined Cry.

Thankfully after it dried of in the sun for a bit it started working again.

I won't be attempting anything like that again this year though! Embarassed

Hi Barbara, so sorry to learn of your accident, how quickly these things happen,  A camera can be replaced but the pain in the wrist will not be feeling back to normal for a while.

If you feel like trying to take our mind off the discomfort, have a browse through the 'guestlist' I did that last night and was amazed at the number of people who write in from abroad saying how they enjoy the pictures, it is very interesting but time consuming, Poe should be very proud of having such a popular site and in which your many photo's play a big part.

Hope you will be happy snapping again soon,  I will save some places for you Ha Ha  Thanks for your e mail.PeggySmile

Peggy

It's funny that you mention the POE Guestbook because I have sat at my pc for many an hour doing just that, looking through the fantastic comments that visitors leave re this website. I agree with you entirely that POE should be proud of the really wonderful entries. Might I suggest that other POE members take a look, I guarantee you will sit still for ages.
