Posts: Joined: 1st Jan 1970 | The whole thing was ridiculous..especially when GB and Sarkozy stood on a football pitch with Arsene Wenger....what on earth has he got to do with anything except that he is French....I think there is a bit of mutual dislike between Britain and France and it goes back a long way. I quite admire the French for standing up to their governments and sticking together....I did NOT admire the way they set fire to our cattle trucks some years ago....cruel. |

I've visited France on 20 or more occasions and have nothing but admiration for the people and their country. Compare our crime rates for instance......and our taxes, and our public transport, and our food, and our young people. Need I say more. One thing the French did get wrong is that very silly 2CV, but no-ones perfect. So what's with all the French stick? Andre. |
