Hi Mick. Perhaps it's the view of Derwentwater, from Ashness Bridge in the Lake District..

Oh yes, I once walked over that bridge, in them days I would draw/sketch stuff, I had no camara then.

I think the seven sisters must be high on the list of most photographed and painted.

Durdle Dor, Dorset is popular with many. Good choice Andy, but none of ours seems even remotely close to Stonehenge, where Googe Image search shows 490,000 it's found!

The thing about Stonehenge is that it's interesting for so many different reasons....the history, the mystery, the mind boggling fact that 40 ton stones were moved so far, its' location....not too far from Salisbury or the New Forest come to that. It's probably the most iconic site in England, I'm sure our friends from America rate it as the place to see besides London.

I remember going to Stonehenge years ago, when you were allowed to actually walk through it and touch the stones, unlike now. It's a fascinating place!

Freshwater bay, Alum bay and the Needles (all on the Isle of Wight) seem to have their fair share of pictures taken.

Yes, Andy, Stonehenge is very cool.  And probably a big tourist draw primarily because it's so famous.  But I've seen many images of Stonehenge and no two are even remotely alike.  Depending on the time of day, time of year, sun or clouds, it looks different all the time.  The Grand Canyon's kind of like that.
