Finding this site has brightened me up and viewing all your pictures is inspirational. England is a place where it has become almost fashionable to pull ourselves down. A look at the pictures on POE should reassure us that it's still not a bad place to live or visit despite the state of the £ & $. Where else for example does the weather delight us by providing all four seasons in a day without an accurate forecast in sight? My New Years Resolution is to improve my photographic skills and try to resist the urge to deplete the Burkey Coffers too much with that "must have lens" or whatever the mood shifts my mind on to wanting, rather than needing. Now that 50mm macro lens looks the business...... Thanks for your comments, your great images and here's to 2009. Cheers! |
