What can we do to buffer ourselves against something that is not of our individual making? What could we at POE do, set up, get going, something that might make our collective fortune? Many heads think many good idea's.....a POE company for example where we all share in the proceeds. C'mon POE members get your thinking hats on, remember that's the power of POE! |

Been there myself on a couple of occassions where either one of us or even both have been made redundant when my kids were young.... but we survived, and so will everyone else if they are sensible. For every £ (or $) you earn, don't go spending one penny more! Simple really! |

I'm looking forward to a busy year ahead, hopefully, I've got 3 jobs lined up for Monday already and I've been busy over the Christmas period. My motto is:- do a good job at a reasonable price and you'll always have work. There are so many courier companies down-sizing their fleets or leaving this line of work so I won't count my chickens, but, what's the point of worrying? So, to sum up, 2009 holds no fears for me, as long as I work hard and keep up the service level I'll have an enjoyable year!! |
