Racist to who exactly? National saint of England ,we havent got an indepence day or national day we have to work,.A council in Birmingham UK has banned a St Georges day parade. Pathetic. Harmful influience might be racist etc St george was originally Greek. We should celebrate our heritage and nationality. What do you think? |

Surely somebody needs a kick in the pants over this. Trouble is of course if they get away with it this time, they'll try it on again and again. Another nail in the coffin eh? We really have got to get our act together before it's too late, this country has gone to the dogs. Ireland.............St Patricks Day. Wales.............St Davids Day. Scotland...........St Andrews Day. None of these people would accept what is appearently happening in Birmingham UK so why should we English have to give way, and to whom? Disgraceful!! |

This whole politically correct thing has gotten way out of hand. Next it'll be racist to worship Christ because he incarnated as a Jewish man. Edited by: Diana Sinclair at:14th February 2009 18:07 |

If any nazi showed up on my doorstep I'd attack them with a spade if I didnt have a gun, I hate them.and they are worryinly multiplying look at youtube ban me for being antinazi. I blame the asians/afro caribbeans etc etc.... when really its a little racist guy sitting in his office, knowing full well what people will do, and who they will blame for it! It gives a little fuel to racist people, and causes trouble! Edited by: Jason T at:16th February 2009 17:19 |

Sandwell area covers the Black Country towns of West Bromwich, Oldbury, Smethwick, Blackheath (which is now called Rowley Regis) and Cradley Heath (where I come from). They are a notorious council for trying to be "politically correct" and failing miserably! The Council Tax is high because of all their time wasting! "Sandwell" isn't even a town - it was a Valley - they changed the name from Warley to waste some more money! As I was growing up I changed address several times but we never moved house! The area covered by Sandwell Council is a multi cultural area and has been for about 40 years. I had friends at school who originated from Kenya, India, Pakistan and Jordan. Most people live in harmony in the area. I think Jason is right - it is just a do-gooder at the council stirring up trouble again! Edited by: Stephanie Jackson at:17th February 2009 09:08 |
