our annualSt Georges day parade in Wigan did not go ahead  last year because of the cost of policing it.

There wasn't half an uproar in the town ,the council were verbally torn to bits and local MP's were contacted. These officials don't like the term <racist> being flung at them.Guess what it will go ahead this year.

I advise people in other towns to follow the same course, let your voices be heard and turn the tables on those who do not support our traditions,.

Excellent point, Patrick. We're becoming so politically correct that free speech is virtually extinct.

I say, let people speak as they may; if some racist bigot says something out of line, someone will soon knock them back a notch or two.

What gets me is that if a muslim organisation wanted a parade, the council would say yes because of fear of being classed as racist, but they have no problem in trying to stop their own St georges parade. Surely thats racism toward their own people. The Council are creating racism not stopping it! And they wonder why the BNP are getting stronger with every election. They have my vote now!!!!

Thats possibly why its done!! it creates racism! If your a leader in the BNP you'd be rubbing your hands together when anything anti english happens, because they know many people will become angry and vote for them!! in an attempt to stop it! so really racism against English people helps the BNP, so its in their interest to make sure it continues!!   Of course St Georges day shouldn't have been banned, but i'm sure most other races that live here wouldn't have objected to it continuing, its the leaders etc... that cause the problems!!

I will make one point, the BNP isnt racist like the newspapers make out, their traditionalists, dont get me wrong there are people out there who go to extremes but on a whole all their fighting for is to keep our tradition. LIve our way or leave!!

Live our way or leave is a scary statement!!  i agree to some extent, but who's way???   who determines which is the right way?
