Hopefully on the 5th June, we will be on a plane back to England after living in Australia for 51/2 years. I can't wait. It's currently very dull waiting around at home at the moment, a bit like one of those limbo periods where you're just kicking your heels.

I feel like I've lived through a starring cast role in Mad Max while I've been here never knowing what's coming next so I'm looking forward to putting down roots in my old market town back home again. Just read the post on Susan Boyle. She hit the news here too. The beauty of her soul shone straight through her music, I am so pleased she's British. Makes me feel proud and humble. Here's to coming home very soon.

Thanks everyone. Im never moving again after this. It's a good way to de clutter your life but gosh, it's hard work. I am so looking forward to seeing bluebells, primroses, catkins, snow, church spires in the frost, red berries, mistletoe, and feeling that early nip of Autumn.

It's almost intolerable just sitting waiting now. Never mind. It's not like I haven't got loads to do.

Hi Steve:  I'm very happy for you too.  Sometimes it takes time away from all we take for granted for us to appreciate what we had.  Best of luck to you and Nadine.
