Today is a day of celebration in our household (both my boys have duel citizenship), and I'm looking forward to English food all day.

Yummy! What kind of foods, Sue?

Well I'll start with breakfast of English Pancakes (Crepes) smothered with Tate's Golden Syrup. It would have been lemon and sugar if I'd remembered to buy lemons.

Lunch will be English cheese with Marmite spread all over it.

And dinner will be Heinz Baked Beans on toast with a fried egg on top.

Not gourmet food, but it's my day off, so not big cooking for me today.

I may also make some raisin scones and have them with strawberry jam and whipped cream.

Happy St Georges day! Being English is about driving a German car to an irish pub to drink a Belgian beer, then on the way home grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab, to sit on a Swedish sofa and watch a Japanese television! And most of all being suspiscious of anything foreign! ...... Oh and only in England can you get a pizza to your door quicker than an ambulance, only in England do banks leave both doors wide open, but chain the pens to the counter!! . Also supermarkets make sick people walk to the back of the store for prescriptions, whilst 'healthy' people can buy their cigarettes at the front of the shop! SurprisedLaughingWink

Just a text i got sent this morning!!Laughing
