Thank you guys(and gals) so much, I have to see the movie I suppose to understand some of what you are trying to tell me. I plan to find it soon though. Sorry I like to yap so much. everyone in POE, you all are my inspiration, and you all give me hope as well as Paul, my family is skeptical about it all, and not at all very supportive. Almost to the point of unsure to take my mom to England or not, sadly yes, it has come to this decision, she is my mom. I guess I would be petrafied if it were my daughter to. I realize she is just scared for my safety. I and my kids are all she has left so I understand her concern for our saftey. I think once she mets Paul, she'll understand more. I pray. Time will tell. But, I do know I'm getting married. I am hoping its possible to bring most of you guys (& gals)with me to the wedding, this will all be up to Paul, and expenses. Please be patient with me. Things in England cost more than I realized. I / no We will keep everyone posted as we go. love you all Jeannie Thank you for being so supportive. I send you all my warmest smiles.

Hi Jeannie, sorry if I've not welcomed you before but I've been absent from here for a while, but back now (hopefully lol) I hope your wedding goes off ok, I got married in a registry office wayyy back in olden times Debbie, and I don't regret it at all. I'm not in the slightest bit religous and it would have made me a hypocryte (sp?) if I had got married in Church. I just wanted a small simple do that didn't cost an arm and leg LOL

Hi Lyn G. ,,I see nothing wrong with that and going as cheap as possiable,,lol my problem is these girls now days want to get married in a country club and spend 10,000 or more just does not make since to me i did get married in a church but very cheap,,lol I do not go to church every sunday but thats just what has been beat into our heads than was southern baptist get married in a church did not really matter if you went to one or not??? i would most likely take the money and run to the court house now that i know better,,,LOL

I don't know Paul's wishes yet. On weither he wants a church wedding or not. I would be satisfied with being married in a beautiful park somewhere. And pray it doesn't rain. That would be my luck. I would love to be married in a castle, but in reality I know this can't happen. A country gal , as myself, can make a wedding in a church beautiful on a small budget in USA. However, this is not the case for England. Yes, everyone, I was unaware of price differences. So, yes, I had a rude awakening, so to speak. However, instead of feeling like things are hopeless. I am hanging in there, an praying for the best. I feel Paul, is sincere, and true to his word. He, I feel speaks from his heart, not just saying words for me to hear. And I the same for him, I am honest with everyone I met, that is just who I am. We were both seeking true love, unique-ly at the same time. He touches my heart like no man ever has. I am holding on to what faith I have, and trusting God, as well as my heart.

I know that $10,000.00 is alot of money, how much we spend is merely up to Paul (and I). I hope to soon have more information to share.Talk to everyone soon. Not sure right now what else to say so. bye for now. Jeannie

Jeannie, surely being together is more important than the wedding. If you are both truly in love and believe that this is God's will, then you will find a way.

Perhaps a simple wedding at a Justice of the Peace, (state side before you move to England) with your mother as witness would be more economical. As happy as the members of POE are for you they don't need to be invited to your wedding to share in your joy. Smile

I agree with Diana. If you take a deep, cleansing breath, relax, and let your creative juices flow, I'm sure you'll see what a beautiful, meaningful, inexpensive wedding you can have.  As for inviting your POE family, I would personally be happy to see a picture tour here on the site documenting the blessed event.  So make sure somebody is there who can operate a digital camera.  Good luck, Jeannie and Paul.

What could be a question Moley would ask of Ratty...or Henny Penny of Foxey Loxey, being taken for a ride down the garden path to a cafe, for a toasted Danish and tea?

a riddle perhaps~

I'm a little rusty is hmm isn't Henny Penny and Foxey Loxey from Chicken Little, (the sky is falling, the sky is falling) man I haven't heard Foxey Loxey nor Henny Penny, in forever.
I talked alittle with him today (I had 6 mins of call time) left on my card. I don't think he is as eager to have an expensive wedding as he was at first. I am very ok with this. I mainly want a white dress of my picking. I don't mind cheap either, but I do want it to be nice. time will tell about these things. Untill I can return in here I will talk later.love Jeannie
