Hi, I'm sure many 'new' members to this fantastic site may have not read the full introductory article by Chris and Sarah. (I missed it too, sorry, I was so excited when I found the site that all I wanted to do is stare in amazement at some of the fantastic images the members had posted LOL). So for all out there that made the mistake that I did, here's the people responsible for what you are now experiencing. Thank you Chris and Sarah.

Who owns PicturesOfEngland.com

PicturesOfEngland.com is owned and run by husband and wife team Chris and Sarah Plows who live in Oxford, England, along with their four wonderful children.
They started building the site back in 2001, feeling the internet lacked a website that truly portrayed the unique beauty and charm that is England, and being rather passionate about their country, they decided to do something about it and set about building their vision of a site worthy of representing such a beautiful and fascinating country.
They sincerely hope you like what they have achieved so far, and hope that you continue to enjoy it for many good years to come. Thank you for supporting PicturesOfEngland.com.

Why your donations and help make a real difference

The site costs thousands of pounds annually simply just to host, and the more users that join, the more this cost increases.
Add to it thousands more for on-going maintenance, new development, and user support, and you can see why your donations really do help, not only with the huge hosting costs, but also with future development and everything else which is needed for the continued survival and success of this website.
We may look at introducing an upload cap at some stage, which can then be lifted by becoming a 'Premier Member' for a small annual fee that will help towards the large costs involved, but until such times as this can be achieved, any contributions made are greatly appreciated. Many thanks for your kind and continuous support.

I had to edit the above post Michael because you said Chris and Sue owned PicturesOf England.com. In fact it is Chris and Sarah....Ooooops! But thank you for bringing this to the attention of the public again, because donations need to be ongoing as the site continues to grow, and appreciated by those who use it.
