Funnily enough today is going really slowly. I think by tonight, it will feel like the longest day, but in a good way, I am enjoying today

That is such a beautiful picture! Too hard today thinking about my dad. I wish the day would go faster.

It depends on the season Debbie, the shortest day is about the 21st December, it comes light at about 8-30am and goes dark about 4pm (roughly 8 hours daylight).

At this time of year the furthur north you go the more daylight you get, hence Scotland will stay lighter longer, but in winter it will get less daylight in the north.

I've seen it dark in the south of England, yet still daylight where I live in Lancashire. it is also lighter on the West coast than it is on the east coast of Enland, as the sun goes down in the west, but the east coast is best if you want to see the sun rise early.

confused? dont be, its just nature letting us know who the boss is lol, told you we have everything here, lol
