If its the South West you are visiting and its beaches you want Ruth then Newquay/Perinporth have a popular beach, popular with the young and surfing. Lifegaurd services too. lots of beaches and coves in that area.Using the simularity that the main island of Britain resembles a man, sat with his legs outstretched, Newquay is on his 'shin', just below the knee. We are having a heat wave here at the moment (29 degrees C), but it will probly be about 22 degrees C down there in August. Watch out for that Debbie though, staggering out of the bars late at night,lol.
