On your theme romantic then none romantic, Ray, you reminded me of something! I once did some accounts and a tax return for an ex boyfriend. When he didn't pay us for ages I sent him a Valentine's card on Valentine's Day and wrote inside

Roses are Red

Violets are Blue

If you don't pay my bill

I will sue you!

The money was pushed through my door the next day!

BEST EVER BLONDE JOKE

A blonde calls her boyfriend and says 'Please come over here and help Me. I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't  figure out how to get
Started .'

Her boyfriend  asks, 'What is it supposed to be when it's finished?'

The blonde says, 'According to the picture on the box,  it's a rooster.'

Her boyfriend decides to go over and  help with the puzzle.

She lets him in and shows him  where she has the puzzle spread all over
The table.

He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the  box, then turns to
Her and says,

'First of all, no  matter what we do , we're not going to be able to
Assemble  these pieces into anything resembling a rooster.'

He  takes her hand and says, 'Second, I want you to relax. Let's  have a
Nice cup of tea, and then ...' he said with a deep  sigh, . .. . .. . .

If its the South West you are visiting and its beaches you want Ruth then Newquay/Perinporth have a popular beach, popular with the young and surfing. Lifegaurd services too. lots of beaches and coves in that area.Using the simularity that the main island of Britain resembles a man, sat with his legs outstretched, Newquay is on his 'shin', just below the knee. We are having a heat wave here at the moment (29 degrees C), but it will probly be about 22 degrees C down there in August. Watch out for that Debbie though, staggering out of the bars late at night, lol.

Thanks for the tips, Michael.  I checked out Newquay on the map and I don't think we will be able to go that deeply into Cornwall, maybe only somewhere in east Cornwall.  We're staying about 10 mi. outside Bournemouth.  I hope to see a little of Devon, Somerset, maybe Bath.  And most definitely the New Forest - we'll be pretty close to there.  We'll only be in England for a week.
