Hello PoE, I don't know if you remember me, and  I know I have been away so long and my appologies. I have just been so busy planning my return to school this year! I'm Going to apply to Coventry University  and go for a Graphic Design BA Honours. I am currently taking care of needed documents and I still need to do all the passport and student visa business. But Hopefully if everything works out, I will be able to be over there in time for a Fall semester start. Its a very long story as to how this came to be, though I may have mentioned it here before of my desire to attend a University here. Wink

I'm very intimidated by just how independent I'm going to need to be and I wish I had a buddy for it but I don't. But this is something I need to do for myself.  So maybe later this year, I'll be posting from England's heart lands. I will try to keep PoE posted on my progress.Smile

Welcome back Zebby, hope all goes as planned and maybe when you arrive you will get the camera out? We expect to see some pictures of course, but that can come after you have settled in. Good luck and remember you don't need any more friends than those that you have here on POE!

Hello Zebby   .

It sounds like you are making a huge step, and I applaud you for it. I'm sure it won't take you long to find a friend at Uni, and then things will feel more comfortable for you.

Keep us informed how it's going, you always have friends here.

Hi Zebby, and welcome back.  :-)

It's natural to feel a little apprehensive about this new step in your life; it's a big one. But remember, fear and excitement are exactly the same feeling, the only difference is the label we give it. So get excited, feel the fear and do it anyway! The anticipation of something is always worse than actually living it. My wager is by the time we next hear from you, you will have made several new friends and will have forgotten all about your anxiety. Cheers!

I remember you too, Zebby.  It's the avatar - lovely.

I'm so happy for you and I hope you do keep us posted.  Stay aboard POE, if you have questions, you can get a lot of help and advice here.  That's one of the great things about this site.  Best wishes to you in your endeavors and I look forward to hearing all about it and seeing some POE from you.

Thanks to all of you for your encouragement. If I can get to where I am able to snap some pictures, it means I'll have been accepted and was able to head over or something. Really all I have to take pictures is a blackberry phone for now, but will try to get out there and see what I can find.

And its a nice pic you got there Peter! I hope I make it there too.

Yes, our Peter is a handsome man!

Zebby, I've seen some great photos taken by cell phones.  And the nice thing about them is that you always have them with you.  How many times have you been someplace and said, "Oh I wish I had my camera with me right now.."
