Well I mean I can most likely afford a house in the south. As long as all of the detached cottages aren't a million pounds. In America for a million pounds you could practically buy a mansion.

Most likely, or joining one. I'm qualified for small animals and wildlife, so maybe I'll work at a rehabilitation centre.

Norfolk and Suffolk are very, very nice.  Dorset is quite nice too!

Hello Timothy, and welcome to POE. How I envy you. I hope you will be very happy in your new practice and in England. I am with Ruth and Jane on this one. The Yorkshire Dales are lovely, and just think, you'd be following in the footsteps of another famous vet, James Herriot!
