EU: Should Britain leave?

You are kidding me!! A ban on bent cucumbers?? OMG!  So what is the penalty for bent politicians if bent cucumbers are banned?  LOL

mmmmm tough one this! YES but with reservations. I dont think everyone is aware of some of the projects that we have benifitted from by being in the EU. That said, we have lost a lot by being part of it also. We should have (as Cathml says) stayed out and kept the 'common-wealth' together and negotiated our trading partners. The EU has now got 'too big' with all the other poorer countries joining and grabbing an handout at our expense. Sucessive British governments have wanted out but when they get in power they adopt reasons for staying in (and lining their own pockets). The only true thing I can say about the EU is that IT'S A MESS!

and lets face it none of them like the english but they want us when any trouble kicks off.

I don't know. It would be good if someone drew up a list of the advantages and disadvantages then see what we couldn't do without.
