Hello, Nina.  I live in a warm climate too, (Arizona), so we have oppressively hot summers too, but the sun shines here 86 out of every hundred days, so I guess that's the price we pay, lol!  Our autumns, winters and springs make up for it though.  But at least we're still in the Northern Hemisphere, so we may not have a white Christmas, but at least Christmas is in winter.  I don't think I'd get used to summer Christmases either.

Welcome back to POE and I'm very happy that you've gone "Home" to England.  Not to shabby of a place to be from, I must say.  Enjoy your beautiful country.  For all of us who have to live vicariously, this site is the next best thing.
