What is the typical weather in England? Is it usually cold?

We have four wonderful seasons Sabrina but if you ever arrive here in the UK don't be surprised to get all four seasons in ONE day! Yes, the weather here can be strange to say the least.

Probably doesn't quite answer your question, but as one of the POE moderators I have to have a quick look around the site to see that all is well and will get back to you, unless of course the members answer the question more appropriately beforehand.

Perhaps it was unusual, but the summer I spent in England was perfect.  It was never too cold or too warm and it only rained once.  And I didn't even see the rain.  Came out one morning and all was a bit wet.  So perfect weather in England does happen.

Oh, the perfect weather was in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Nothing wrong with the East Riding at all. I'm born and bred there.....and I have to say although a lot of it is it's very flat and boring there are some real jewels hiding away
