I don't know about you lot, yet, here in the Rockie Mountains, all the rush for me is over, Greetings Card's have all been sent, as well as gifts to the family and friends.

I think it a good time for the mulled wine and hot mince pies to be in order.

Are we all ready?

A most Happy Christmas to all in "Poe'ville"

Our fire brigade has decided to go on strike Xmas Eve and New Years Eve. So thinking I was finally not having to work these days suddenly was changed because of this and now will be working Xmas Eve day and the following week, New Years Eve to after midnight, all at flat rate of course as neither are holidays during this time.

hope you all have a lovely Xmas break.

Hi All,

I think it is that time of year when we reflect on how lucky we are to still be here and time to say thank you.  I am not a religious person but I do like the spirit of goodwill at this time of year and wish it could last forever.

I will take this opportunity of thanking POE for being so kind throughout the year.  The help that I have been given with my photo's has been fantastic.  The brain has been put to work on these forums and this is the best on-line family I have come across.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all Health & Happiness in whatever you do. As an old Irish comic would have said "May YOUR God go with you"

Thanks folks !!!

It didn't go unnoticed John. Thank you and thanks to all other POE members who make this site what it is, so very well done to all, from all at POE.
