We felt the earth move today as a town 2 1/2 hours away had a 6.0 earthquake.

Yes, another reason I would like to move back to England.

Our little town barely felt it, but the small, rural town of Wells, Nevada which was the epicenter, lost all of it's historic buildings.

We had an earthquake today, it was around the Lincolnshire area and was 5.2. Eerie or what!

Ha! And what did I say at the end of the first post? Something about wanting to live in England because you don't get earthquakes.  . How wild!

Our nearest town had seven earth tremors yesterday, and I felt one little shake (very mild). I think something underground it's working itself up, and it's pretty scary as we live on an earthqueak fault.

I blame it all on global warming.

Nah Sue, its just what the earth does naturally. If we didn't have earthquakes then none of us would be alive, the undersea volcanos are just letting off the pressure on the earth and so causes earthquakes, there's a very interesting programe  on BBC here called The Power of the Planet, explains all this and more!   I can't understand why Cities and towns are built on earthquake faults, and likewise I cant understand why they are built on flood planes either, take Cambridge here in the UK.for example....if the seas rise it will be flooded,  then I would be a lot nearer to the coast! lol

Oh, I thought we were supposed to blame everything on global warming, or maybe the government  .

Well I wish the earth would do it's bit a little further away, i don't want to be buried underneath the Nevada desert.

It's those little green men, I have been saying it for years. Either them or Ron. lol.  He's always shakes things up.

I just hope nobody got hurt.
