Reno, our closest big town had 19 earthquakes in a one hour period, the biggest being 4.8 which is a pretty decent size.

I think I'ts time to move back to England NOW.

83 shakes today, still too far away to effect our town but still unnerving and definitely ominous.

We had a real shaker this afternoon. It felt like an explosion had rocked the house.

I looked it up on the web, and found out that we had a smaller quake on Monday, during the night as well.

This was WAY too close for comfort.

Oh that's a terrible experience.

Last year, in May, there were a strong earthquakes (6.1, 5.6, 5.4, 5.1 Richter in two weeks) in Emilia, very close to where I live. I slept in my car for five nights because there was always shakes and the historical buildings in my town were seriously damaged.

Nowadays there are a very little shakes again but fortunately are very weak.

Yes, it was very frightening because the main shake was during the night and the days after were terrible.  The following tremors caused crashes in a several churches and some ancient castles. Many buildings are still damaged, but people want to rebuild as soon as possible.

Each earthquake is frightening whatever its power. For this reason I'm close to everyone who live this terrible experience.
