I didn't even think it would be possible till I saw some pictures from other amateurs on the Internet and they were literally climbing up their arms or standing on the ground and eating from their palms . I've tried so many times in the park where I use to go jogging, armed with plenty of nuts and patience but there's no way for me to get any closer than a meter before watching them disappearing like little ghosts :( . |

I don't think they intend to bite, just part of getting the food and being a bit over ambitious. I wouldn't suggest trying, but if you do, then I would find a good squirrel place, take a handful of nuts, sit still in one place and do this over a number of days as they may have to get use to your presence.
