Your uniform was, if I recollect, a large white canvas top with extra long sleeves but no hand holes, which was secured with leather straps down the back, and the sleeves tied in criss cross fashion across the front. I remember some people though it a bit restrictive, but it had a certain amount of 'street Cred'. People crossed over the road when they saw you coming. |

I was at school in the 60's and the mini skirt was in but we had to wear our skirts a certain length but we would roll them over at the waistband when a certain teacher wasn't around to make them shorter, we got caught many times and told off for this!
