Now you've made me think of when we organized a 1-day meeting for the members four years ago. Being the most of us from the north of the country, we picked up a nice tourist area which could be close enough for us to drive home and as attractive as well to the others to wish staying for the weekend. It was a memorable time and on that day I met a few of my current best friends. |

That was sweet of you, as Sue H said, and personally, I'd recommend a PoE Weekend at Fawlty Towers; I'm sure Basil would be delighted to have us, and Sybil could keep an eye on Ron while our overseas friends find their way down the back street called the M5, and as long as no one orders a Screwdriver or Waldorf salad, as Basil is usually fresh out of Waldorfs. |

When he introduced himself it was all I could do not to laugh. I immediately thought of Basil Fawlty! Isn't that a great show? A classic! The POE members would certainly give Basil a run for his money! LOL! |

Interesting fact is that two women living in America are the ones who have actually met POE members. You'd think it would be those of you closer to home. By the way, that would be me and Diana. |

Even though I have never watched Fawlty Towers, I've heard enough about it to think your post is right on, Paul. |

LOL! As Diana said, it's a classic. Sue, you have to see it. I think you can order the DVD's from Amazon or PBS. It's worth every penny - it's absolutly hysterical. |

Though tomorrow night you'll just have to remind us yet again, with all your fireworks! But we did send over that nice Liberty Bell made in Whitechapel with only one minor fault---it didn't ring---but it's the thought that counts. |
