When you go diving Denzil, can I please have some scallops.  I hate them but David likes them and used to bring them up when he was scuba diving in Cornwall.  The first ones he cooked in the kitchen but from then on I made him cook them outside.  The smell in the house lasted for weeks!

Lyncles are a lesser known varaint of the cockle family, usually found in beds. Dr. D's book says they're best eaten at bed time for a soothing night's sleep; a sort of anti-dote for insomnia or other bedtime related aflictions that might be caused by too much work, excess alcohol, and such like. Best not taken too quickly though , for a more lasting effect.

The only cockles I ever heard of are the ones that get warmed in your heart, and the shells of the cockles that grow in Mary, Mary Quite Contrary's garden.  Smile
