when my hubby and I were first setting up house, we rented, and we had this cat, you guy's would of loved her, she took to the "British" with an sack with your flag for an logo on when they sold "Britianica" blue jeans...but she was one spolied cat, as we didn't have any kids back then, so we babied her instead. It was one day when I was done baking pies and had this long  kitchen counter full of freshly made bananna, chocolate, and lemon pies on the counter, she brought in an "bird" and placed it in her dish, in childish kitty  "glee..look what I got!" Well, thw bird took off flying..her after it ..me screaming as I grab an broom flyin from pie to another  pie ..whacking away, pies going all over the place, in my hair, on the cabinets, I finally caught the bird, took ti outside and it sit there awhile"stunned" before it took off again, I was yelling at her, and sent her to the garage rafters..and I hear the doorbellring..it was my landlord. He camein, wiht me having whipcream and pie hangingoff me, the kitchen looking totalled, and he says, We are going to Hawaii for the winter, you take such good care of the house,..that we thought we'd tell you to just keep the money until we get back, that we throughly trust you wiht the house here...and said...don't tell me...we all have "days"like this once in an awhile and "laughing"he leaves. I was sooooo embarassed. I celaned things up and when hubby came home told him all about it, and he said, where is she?..I said still in thee garage...and he goes out there and he says, "Where's my little kitty at"..and you hear this little humble "meow"and he says comeon out  "Mai"...and she crawls out a little bit and he picks her up and they just kissy love and all...an dhe throughly forgives her. I could of just sit there an steamed...as he tells me not to be so rough on her, that she just wanted to give me her "present". I had some neighbors one time, because she "talked" in cat language,...but like an  person, that wanted to steal her when they moved apparently. they had put her under their house crawl space, whihc was closed to the outside with screens and I could hear her, but didn't know for sure where she was at. I told them to let me get her, or I'd come with an search warrant...well, they decided to let her go, by then she had bloody "neck rings" where she had fought to get away herself from being tied with an rope. They had an little girl that use to like talking to her. We had her in all for17 years...in four different homes. I use to tall her my own personaly "Garfield" kitty because of her personailty.

He was limping on his left front paw. Elsie panicked. Said he was licking his paw and crying in pain. He was fine, Elsie probably needed the help more. Her anxiety gets the best of her. He must of jumped off the chair funny but after a bit he was okay. I guess Elsie worries cause Cuddles' brother JIngles had a hemangiosarcoma and had to have that leg amputated and a year later had to be put down. He was the sweetest cat ever. So Elsie worries about all them in a major way.

I am glad Cuddles is alright.  I understand Elsie's panic. Once I was talking to my room-mate who excused herself to the bathroom and when she came out I was gone. In the couple of minutes that she was gone I noticed my cat at the time acting like she was in pain, so I snatched her up without saying a word to anyone and literally ran her to the vet, who was only a ten minute walk from my apartment. My friend and I joke about it to this day, how one minute we were carrying on a conversation and the next she comes out to find she is talking to herself! LOL!

Some years ago one of our cats, Sylvester, brought a snake to my wife, and dropped it at her feet whilst she was pegging washing on the line. The snake was still alive. Needless to say the washing had to wait till I got home.

My cat Ralphie once rescued us from a snake sitting by my car. I hadn't seen Ralphie around but he came out of nowhere grabbed the snake and ran off with it. I've been known to rescue snakes off of sticky traps and set them free. Smile
