The swingin 60's was my era, I was a teenager then but I wouldn't want to go back to then, good as they were as It just wouldn't be the same.  I'd like to go back to the 1940's same as Krissy. I love watching 'Goodnight Sweetheart' where he goes back in time.

The swinging sixties I was in my teens too. They say if you can remember them, then you wernt there. I cant remember them. But I can remember the fights down at the south coast sea fronts. I was a rocker (biker to the uninformed). We hated the mods on thier scooters. He he he. Sorry POE.

I'd like to visit Ireland, say about 1913. Walk up the long lane to my grandparent's house, who I never knew and were dead long before I was born, and have a chat with them.

I've always love the medieval period, especially the Plantagenet era. I've read many a history book, so it's not a romanticized image.

Thinking back to Mods 'n Rockers that Peter mentioned, I was in my early teens so not old enough to actually ride a motorobike or scooter, but I guess I was more a Mod (sorry Peter lol) I remember an old boyfriend had a scooter but he hadn't passed his test but gave me a lift home anyway. In those days you never had to wear crash helmets or anything like that. Rockers (or Greasers) wore leather and Mods wore parka's with loads of fur trim. Happy days

I really don't know what era i'd choose!!  i'd love to see what quite a few were like, wouldn't it be good if we could just skip back in time for a short while and really see what places were like. I have great memories of the 70's, when i was a kid. I'd like to go further back too, maybe 13th 14th C, would be interesting, probably quite smelly tho!! Smile

Very unhygenic as well Jason, can you imagine what illness was around in those times with no medication as we know it. The 70's to me don't seem that long ago.

I am another old "Rocker" like Pete, used to love my Triumph Thunderbird.

Yes 1960's for me.
