C. one summer with our pick-up and camper, yes I drove it there, from Oregon, my sister and my small son, and was in contact with my uncle and his truck and truck driving crew while enroute..owns his own trucking buiness... we flew my hubby into the airport, picked him up and he vacationed with us the rest of the way..t'was the only way I could get seeing all the relatives in...anyway...these people camped across from us had an poptop VW bus that I thought was really "Kool" as they say. It slept four people and they had some kind of an canopy flap that came out over the picnic table in the park. They took sighseeing busses all day and used it just in the evenings, and would nicely all but fold it up while they were gone during the day. My camper on the other hand, I eneded up taking it off the truck. We used an mass tranisit system while there also. It's hard to get around the streets back east in the older cities with these bigger rigs...esp. in the historic areas. I always thought of the "ease" that they enjoyed with the their VW camper. Nice canary yellow I see, you got an "name" for this rig or do peopel do that over there? |
