Nice canary yellow I see, you got an "name" for this rig or do peopel do that over there?

I don't know if they name their vehicles over there, Shirley, but maybe they do.  I used to have a 52 Chevy pickup named Bessie.  They name their houses though.

What do all you Englanders call your houses?

I think Sue H's Mini should be named Derek. My Austin 10 Cambridge was named Florrie.

We call them houses Ruth  .

OK, I'll be serious. The house I grew up in was called Crabtree Cottage.

No special reason--just thought Derek sounded a good name for a Mini. I'm sure you'll think of an even better one. You need the Post Office's permission to name your house once you've thought one up.

We only have a number - we had several names when we moved in in 1961 but couldn't make our minds up - so it's still a house without a name!

Back to the camper though - ours was called Daisy. When we sold her our granddaughter was so upset when she thought the new owners would change it, but they didn't and they now have "Daisy" printed on the back with a picture of a daisy too
