It isn't the fall - kids do that all the time - it's the fact that they have left him like that for 4 days and they didn't tell us. |

Terry is right, you probably do have a case, and if nothing else you should be compensated for the medical cost and the emotional trauma. |

I did have a chance to put it into perspective though - as i sat in the entrance waiting for Terry to pick us up a lady younger than me came in to make a call. She was explaining that her husband was in the resusitation suite and how bad he was. She was crying and I just wanted to hug her. Then Terry arrived so we left. I remember how I felt when I nearly lost Terry - I am glad that dispite the constant hard knocks that we are all safe. |

Are they living in the dark ages? In this day and age, that's inexcusable. I don't blame Terry. I think I'd be having a lawyer write them a friendly letter too. And when when I went to see the headmistress, I'd absolultely insist on an investigation and report and how they plan to address it. I'm so sorry for little Aaron. Tell him we're all pulling for him. |

Terry saw the headmistress today - the teacher had the cheek to say that it wasn't swollen when I picked him up and that I was happy that it wasn't! Luckily my friend was with me (another mom) and she saw how swollen it was too and remembered me commenting how it was twice the size as it was normally. The head is doing an enquiry on Monday which is the 1st stage of the complaints procedure. I took Aaron to the fracture clinic (another 2 hours waiting!) and they say it will be fine - 3 weeks in plaster and another 3 weeks bandage. I kept him off school and he seems happier now. |
