A commercial came on the TV, it said "Hands up those of you who have gone through menopause" at which point husband and two teenage boys in my house raised their hands. I of course didn't. See what kind of humor I have to live with. |

My funny TV moment was when we were watching a show here called Ten Years Younger which gives makeovers to women who suffer a pole where people usually guess their age at 70 when they are only 40. I bravely asked the boys if Mom should go on the show - my 8 year old prince charming said "Of course not Mom, you look so young" and my straight talking 12 year old lad said "No Mom - you look your age!" |

LOL @ Stephanie. I love that show actually. I don't watch it all the time but if I happen to be home when it's on I'll watch it. Of course, many of these people are given free procedures that cost an arm and a leg to the rest of us, so it's not as view friendly as one would think. |

All I will say is that I went home depressed. I think my gray hair is great, but it does age me that's for sure. |

He literally went gray overnight when our house was broken into. He was only 35 at the time. My Mom went gray when my Dad died. I only noticed when I looked at photos I took of both of them just before the events and just after. It's interesting and many would probably think I'm a bit mad but it does seem that shock can send you gray! |
