Nice to see traditional values still going. No Lyn I don't eat from and tray/lap, though my table seems to have a passing resemblance to a desk.  As for TV, excluding F1, never watch it. I'll join you Wolf on the Sunday Dinner Tour Guide of England. Smile

Thanks Lyn, beef, pork, lamb, chicken.......I'm not fussy! You can't beat a good old traditional roast dinner, trouble is, most people go out to the pub for it now. I prefer it at home personally!!

I love family dinners. Love to cook for big crowds. My father turned our back yard into a garden when I was growing up. I remember my Mom canning over 500 quarts of food one summer. Us kids would sit around the table cutting greenbeans or I would be helping to peel apples or tomatoes. My great Uncle Bill had a 100 acre dairy farm when I was growing up. The farm has been in the family for over 200 years. Now that he has passed on I think I know some one in the family has it. One of the grandchildren, I think.

I used to love to visit that farm. I would talk to the cows and chickens. We always came home with eggs, apples, honey combs.

We always had chickens growing up, fresh eggs every day, and a bird to eat every now and again, and on Christmas day.

Nobody should be by themselves at Christmas and Thanksgiving (in USA). You're always welcome here Krissy, we even get snow.
