Or a pie cooking. I love the smell of lavender, and of roses, oh and lilacs and hyacinth. And I love the sound of wind rushing through the trees, oh and a wave crashing on the beach and then running back into the ocean. Also, the hoot, hoot of an owl on a dark night. Life is good. |

In addition to the sounds of geese flying overhead, I love the sound of a crackling fire, seagulls, church bells, and I am sure I'll think of others! LOL! I love the smells I associate with Thanksgiving and Christmas like: pumpkin pies baking in the oven, apple cider, the scent of a Christmas tree, etc. |

The result being that it is not one specific chemical, but a number of constituent chemicals, like for example petrol. It was commonly used as a wood preservative for use against wood destroying insects and wood rotting fungi. |
