That sounds like a pretty tough test, Sue, but which I'm sure you'll get out of soon and with flying colours.  Be patient and keep your mind as busy as you can; you will be fine!.

Alan, I know it took you a certain amount of effort to put it up, but I think that the somewhat serious look of your avatar doesn't give enough due to your sensitiveness and, above all, to your wit :).

Make room for me in the group hug please----thanks-----

This is for Sue and anyone who needs a hug:-

A hug --a welcome hug

A kind and friendly deed

Is that which everyone can give

And everyone doth need.

That was lovely Alan. I hope you don't mind if I only hug the ladies!! Nothing personal, you understand.

No offence taken at al, Andy.  And I suppose your feelings on hugging only the ladies are echoed by that well known gentleman of this parish, Denzil.  I agree with you.  The ladies are much more huggable than any of us fellas!

No prejudice here, I'll hug anybody! Even Kevin and little Denzil! Laughing

I must say I disagree with this statement, however, the ladies too, are huggable.  Smile  Consider yourself hugged from me everybody.

Funny how the women will hug the women, but the men won't hug the men.  But if we all got together I bet we'd over come that, yeah?

Thanks for thwe vote of confidence Maria.  To be honest I don't think there are more than another two pics of me in existence, on account of I keep breaking people's camera's, which doesn't exactly make me a favourite subject of portrait photographers.

I'll try to find one that was taken more recently, but I can't promise, because I'm very busy at present.  On Saturday afternoon they're unveiling a statue of Stanley Arthur Jefferson (aka Stan Laurel) in Bishop Auckland, and I don't intend to miss that if I an help it.  (Actually I've already posted two pics of the statue in the Bishop Auckland Tour - where they're numbered 69 and 70).

Thanks again for your kind comment.  Hope to catch you in the forums some time.

A beautiful sentiment Lorraine, and a beautiful adaptation too.
