Doedate Lawson, he had been the preacher at the church before the Salem, Mass. "Witch trials" and record has that he went back to see what had happened to his old congregation since he had moved on to another church...I found him in Bruton Parish church, buried there as an "unknown" stone as D la...1722 I think, don' thave my data before me right now...most the name not there and the year he died, or was interned there. he said in his letters he'd written that he had no idea what came over his former congreation. I think I know, he left the Rev. William Rogers in his place, this family whom in England had been burned at the stake for being an witch was also said ot of been an "pretender" as well. I find out later there may of been an case of eplipsey in this family also, the Rogers are an maternal line of the Lawson. I question in my mind if those little girls saw this man have an seizure, and were making fun of him, when they were caught and not wanting to tell the truth, came up with being posessed, if not maybe even imitating him perhaps. From then on it simply mushroomed as all political problems do. But the last I read of things, they think that some kind of "mold" they use to get into the bread flour could of caused hallucinations also. So we may never know the truth, I can only tell my suspected anaylsis of it all. The Rogers family then moved out and went to Rhode Island. I can imagine they make the best of this up there, and have i got an bone chilling story for you all some day to sit around and tell to others. But not now. |

I love to dress up for Halloween. It would be fun if we had a mascarade party. We can meet at Jason's all dressed up and surprise him. |
