I could not lie. I would have to confess.

I once wrote a 2 page-ish short story for English class.  The teacher thought it was very good; too good in fact. She failed me for it as she didn't believe it was mine. So, for my efforts, I got an F after her words said it  should have had an A. Never bothered much after that.

I know what you went through Paul. When I was in my 11th year I was taking Pre-Med Biology. My favorite subject. The teacher was not nice to me. She only helped the popular girls. We had a report to do. I worked really hard on it, did pencil drawings of cells that looked exactly like the book. When I got it back, she wrote A, all this work really wasn't necessary! I gave up after that and started cutting her class.

It seams to me a teacher can make or break a child. If they can't be encouraging, or offer positive words why did they become teachers in the first place?

Most of my teachers considered me a waste of time, and treated me so. I can't remember their names, but I can remember the names of two teachers who had compassion on me, and worked with me, and I appreciate them to this very day.

Sue, my answer would be no. Pure and simple; anyone who says they have never broken a rule would be lying. I figure I should get points for being honest! LOL!

I've come in halfway through this conversation, I was always told at school that I was too talkative (how true) and that I resented correction....again true lol I hate being told what to do.

Re the question 'Are you obedient in all things', anyone who answered yes to that would be telling porkies. For all our faraway friends, fibs.

A beloved sister is engaged to marry a man you know to be bad news.  Do you try to persuade her not to marry him?

I'd have a little chat to see if she is aware of what's she's heading for, but not that much time as she'll marry him anyway, regardless.
