As for tarot cards, I have never used them. Cant play poker with them.

Krissy, tarot cards have a bad reputation for being a charlton's tool at best to the devil's tool at worse!  While it's true that the cards are often used by people who are only interested in their money making and/or entertainment value, in truth, that was not the original purpose of the cards. Ideally, they are most suited at tools for personal psychological, spiritual, and emotional growth.

Contrary to what you may have heard or read, the best way to choose a deck is to go to a shop where they have sample decks available for you to look at and then choose the deck that "feels" right to you.

There is an online store called Aeclectic Tarot that has a list of hundreds of decks and they even have rather nice sample cards from each deck for you to view.
