That's what friends are for Andy, eh?

Whilst having got your attention Andy allow me to say that you have submitted some fantastic pics recently. I particularly liked the insect series, brilliant! Don't normally see close-ups like that do you?

I might add, I do see the pics as I approve them, but don't have a great deal of time to then go back and comment. I hope everybody understands that because to be honest you could spend your day just looking, taking it all in and then commenting. We have some fantastic photographers here, who somehow manage to get brilliant pictures. Well done to you all and it certainly makes me want to go buy a decent camera! In the meantime I have to make do with my digital.

You're doing a great job, Ron.  There are so many great new pictures being posted to the site, that it's hard enough for the average POElander like me to keep up with the flow.  Beautiful pictures of beautiful places.  Just another reason why POE is quite simply without rqual anywhere on the web!

But importantly Alan did you read that Paul and I have kissed and made up, go back a page? Yuck, the man's not for turning!!

I certainly do agree with what you say above Alan, we do have a brilliant website and forum and as you also said without equal! Long may it last...

Yes I had read that page Ron.  And as one who expressed dismay at the thought of Paul leaving the family, I'd like to put on record that I'm over the moon (which isn't all that easy for a guy my size) that everything is resolved.  We all want a bigger family, and losing valued members isn't the way to grow!  I for one look forward to seeing many more of Paul's breathtaking shots.  I realise that because there are so many great pics on this site, it's hard to know what to look at next!  But that's the kind of problem we all thrive on.

I would like to make it clear concerning the situation that transpired last night and started this thread. Wolf in no way posted anything untoward, in fact it was quite the opposite, but I deleted the post because of reasons I won't go into here but was explained to Wolf via email.

Still, I did handle it wrong and in hindsight should have left things be.

I was totally in the wrong, and Wolf was not at all to blame for the situation.  We exchanged emails, Wolf advised me how I may handle things in the future and I was grateful for his help and cool headedness.

Another family dispute sorted for the benefit of us all then Sue H? Thanks for being big enough to explain as you did. I would also like to say that I didn't see it either, so have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Wolf, thanks for your continued support throughout the website and forum. Tis gud ere en it an all?

Aah! that's that then!

Thanks Ron, I'm glad you're enjoying them. As soon as these pesky leaves fall off the trees I'll try for some bird shots again!! May I just reiterate that you're doing a great job Ron, as are all at POE.
