Time for some American to English translation.

Syrup in America is Maple Syrup.

Syrup in England is Golden Syrup, or pure cane sugar.

And yes, maple syrup taste great when it hits your sausages (Turkey sausage for me).

I'm making Eggy Bread (known in America as F**** Toast) for breakfast tomorrow. I've alread made a white loaf to sit a few days.
