I thought that too Krissy!

I've never been to Blackpool or Brighton but they are a bit too busy for me Rick. I like beaches where there is hardly anyone on there with great scenery.

You lost me for a bit Krissy! I've been to California but we didn't go to the beach until we went to Hawaii.

You would love our beaches here. I wish I lived nearer the sea. The nearest is Brean and Weston - not my favourites and it takes 1 and a half hours to get there.

Yes, my cousin took me to Brean this last trip. We climbed the steps and walked Brean Down to the point. I have a picture but it has people in it. Still it's only their backs. I'm going to submit it. See if you recognise it.

Great bird watching up there. It was a breezy and somewhat wet day, and we only passed two other people. It was great!

Rick - LOL

Brean is below Weston and Burnham Sue. You might have been there in the past. I have one picture of it in my pictures. We tend to go in the winter just so we can get some sea air but it takes half hour to walk to the sea - it is so far out! The one time we went Terry sank in the mud up to his knees - we had to buy him new trousers and shoes - it was so funny!

We posted that at the same time! Brean Down is lovely Sue. It reminds me of walks with my Dad before he was disabled. I will look for the picture.

I've submitted my picture and it's now awaiting the all clear.

As I said above, it was a rainy day, so not a clear shot of Steep Holm, but good enough. And my cousin and his wife look terribly cute holding hands.

Can I ask you again, what village you are from Steph? If you don't want to post it here, hit me off an email.

We drove down to Brean from Box in Wiltshire.
