My love is chocolate, but I do love sweets....many of my favourites I do not find anymore...

Do have any favourite sweets that you cannot find???

Mine are Cola cubes, used to have a bag of them in my uniform pocket at school ...Yum...

oh yes, don't know what they call them though, peanut shaped sweets with nuts in them, had them as a kid, very nice. Sherbert pips as well, don't think you can get them any more Smile

I used to love frys chocolate, but you can still get that. Sherbut dips, and love hearts..with the little messages on each sweet. Lyn B and definitely Emma won't remember the packs of crisps you could buy with the small, blue sachet of salt...to sprinkle over the crisps.

See's Candy, one time we pulled our meager pocket change together to have an meagar Christmas Party at work, and when Dr. Marshall Brown heard about it, he sent our staff an huge box of expensive See's Candies...oh yummy!!!

I can remember going to the Birkenhead Market when I was a kid and buying a bag of little fish shaped sweets, ( they call them lollies here) they were orange and white or yellow and white, covered in sugar and I loved the taste. I can't remember what they were called.

Was there also a ' licqourice root' that you could chew ?
