LOL, Ron.  Wink

I didn't know there was such a town in Lancashire, Ron.  It's a type of Cadillac too, you know.  Regretably, I've not yet been to Lancashire, but it's on my list.  So no, I didn't have a big mac in Lancashire, but I told my husband when we went over there - absolutely, positively no fast food whilst we're in England.  Only pub grub or stuff from the super market.

The singer's from Phoenix, BTW.

Don't leave me this way
I can't survive, can't stay alive
Without your love, oh baby
Don't leave me this way, no
I can't exist, I'll surely miss your tender kiss
Don't leave me this way

Aaah baby, my heart is full of love and desire for you
Now come on down and do what you gotta do
(Now come on girl and do what you gotta do)
You started this fire down in my soul
Now can't you see it's burning out of control

It's "Don't Leave Me this Way" if I am not mistaken.

Here's one:

So damn easy to say that life's so hard
Everybody's got their share of battle scars
As for me, I'd like to thank my lucky stars that I'm alive and well...
It'd be easy to add up all the pain
And all the dreams you sat and watched go up in flames
Dwell on the wreckage as it smolders in the rain
But not me

Yes, Diana, you're right, the famous Thelma Houston disco song.  I posted the lyrics because I heard it on the radio yesterday at work.  I listen to the BBC online and I can't believe all the disco stuff they play.

Don't know yours though.

Reckon you just made that up Ms Sinclair to reflect on your own situation! Lol

By the way, if you did the words do seem appropriate. Here's hoping and praying still that something will turn up soon for you Diana.

Now back to the thread title, hmmmn! Nothing in my memory anywhere near this. I could cheat of course!!

It is appropriate to my situation and it has become my new mantra;  but I did not make it up. It's a wonderful little tune by Kenny Chesney and Dave Matthews called "I'm Alive".

'When we're skating in the park
If the snow cloud makes it dark
Then your rosy cheek's gonna light my merry way
Now the frosty paws appear
And they've frozen up my ear
So we'll lie by the fire
Till the sleet simply knocks 'em all away'
