I hadn't heard of Take That, so I looked them up on You Tube. For any other oldsters out there, here they are. I did recognize the song though. Glad you scored tickets. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMSUnEOPY5I

How long do you have? lol I've been to arenas, theaters, nightclubs and stadiums. And one huge outdoor show in 1973 in Watkins Glen, NY featuring The Band and The Grateful Dead. We saw the Who at Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego and the Rolling Stones at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Guns and Roses opened for the Stones. Also U2 twice in two nights as Sun Devil Stadium here in Phx - BB King opened those shows. The tickets were $5 because they wanted to fill the 50,000 seat stadium for filming the movie Rattle ahd Hum. Who else: U2 twice in 2 nights, about 6 months before their stadium shows, Rod Stewart, Pink Floyd, Midnight Oil twice in the same year, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Rodgers, and Yes back in 1980 I believe. We took my son to his first concert, Def Leppard, when he was about 6 or 7. I've never seen Queen or the Travellers.

Oh, I saw Donny Osmond by himself in concert last year, he was great too. I've also seen Micael Flatley in both Lord of the Dance and Celtic Tiger. Stage shows have been Les Miserable, Phantom of the opera, Joseph, Chicago (hated that one), and last year a funky little musical in London's West End based on Lord of the Rings. I'm sure there are more, but that's what I can remember right now. |

Hasn't the queen visited every town in England yet? If I was her, I would have by now. What a great country to be the queen of! Especially Cornwall and North Yorkshire.

Sue, I also saw Phantom of the Opera (several times) and even got to meet Michael Crawford after one of his performances. A couple of years back I saw Jesus Christ Superstar and it was amazing. I've never seen Les Miserable but I've always wanted to. |
