I have started this thread to let everyone know, I am sooo excited because I finally get to see 'TAKE THAT' in concert..I have loved them since I was little..and managed to get hold of concert tickets today. 600 thousand tickets sold out within 5 hours of going on sale. I am one of the lucky ones!

Please share the concerts you have been to, or the bands you have seen..or if there was anyone you really wanted to see!

I've seen Led Zeppelin at Knebworth in 1979, along with 200,000 others, Black Sabbath (three times), The Who and The Stranglers (on the same bill at Wembley 1979), Mannfred Manns earth band, UFO, Budgie, AC DC more times than I can count, The Cure (35th birthday present and the best concert I've ever been to), Pink Floyd and many others too. Long time ago though!!

The strangest one was Chaz and Dave on the bill at Knebworth with Led Zep....when they asked if anyone had any requests after their first song, one bright spark shouted out ''yes, make that the last one!''

A very major company where I live had their annual staff dinner and hired Westlife for the evening's entertainment for them. Queen was formed after meeting at Ealing Art College near where I lived and played the pubs in West London and to my regret, never got a photo of them;  The Who had been down the road at Acton, but a bit before my time.  Australian Pink Floyd has been to Basingstoke a couple of times and put on an excellent show.  A friend who plays bass is mad on Wishbone Ash, and before a concert in Southampton, got to have lunch with them in the afternoon.

The one concert I've always wished I'd gone to way back was when The Beatles turned up in Denver and a friend had gone up there to see them, and I didn't bother to go.
