So they are similar to the big company outlets like Coles and Woolworths that we have in Oz, but not necessary always the cheapest.

Are there many switching to hybred and alternative power  in your regions ?

There are a few here but not all that popular.

Here in rural Kansas its petrol all the way . Alternative power around here is diesel !

 Getting in late here, but in Oregon it's $2.34 and with my grocery store discount that mkaes it 20 cnts an gallon less...unleaded per gallon...or $2.14. I've heard before that Europe was really hit hard by all this Iraq problem with the petrol pricing.,,I heard in France it's going for about $10 an gallon in US prices.

The prices very roughly work out to $6.28 (£4.23) a gallon here Shirley (if my maths is rightUndecided) , but dont forget the US gallon is totally different to the UK gallon! and work in litres here, the same as Europe.

Here in Harper we are now at $1.97 a gallon , in Wichita yesterday it was down to $1.78 ! Its worth the time it takes to get there just for that !
