for me it was going through two old cookbooks on the coffee table last night, one had an tabletop "woodland" scene made out of real green pine, and stuffed squirrel, and baskets all around resembling woodchips, mushrooms, acorns, pine cones and an fallen log(cake)...all out of chocolate or nuts for the most part...in short eatable 100 per cent. Unique. Good idea!..bravo to the chef?  Then I looked at all kinds of gingerbread houses that people have decorated. there were cabins, churches, victorian houses, windmills, santa toyland houses, replicas of historical homes, you name it, most the"thatched" roofs were little squares of mini-shreded wheat "cereal" biscuits. Just the oppostie, one time someone many years ago gave me an keepsake ornament of New York city skyscrapers with an train going around them...at the bottom...maybe the "metro"express?.. Fits in the palm of your hand, and plugs into to be "lit up" somewhat. Holidays have such "expression"...Opps, gotta go, all the kids are back now for the evening.

Nativities and Christmas albums. Radio station here playing Christmas songs already. They really lift my spirits and make me think what is important in life. My friends and family mean the world to me.

This one Shirley? I think sometimes if everyone posts on lots of different threads it falls off the page. It's happened to me too!

We have lots of noisy ornaments for Christmas - it's like a grotto here in December! Dancing snowmen, musical snow things - really tacky but fun!
